Michael founded Pennyhorse in 1999 after working
as a freelance marketing consultant and later
as editor of a business journal in Connecticut.
While collaborating with other marketing agencies,
he noticed that shortages of creativity and slow
execution of ideas abounded.
Upon returning to New Hampshire,
Michael opened the doors to Pennyhorse. He saw
the need for a boutique agency that overflowed
with creativity, but had the discipline to execute
ideas. Since the very first day, Pennyhorse has
provided this for companies of all sizes - from
start-ups to Fortune 500 corporations.
Staying true to the boutique agency
model, as President/CEO, Michael works closely
with all Pennyhorse clients. He is hands-on and
views client relationships as partnerships in
which all parties share a common goal - to accomplish
the primary marketing objectives. Michael's main
responsibility at Pennyhorse, in addition to being
a key contact for clients, is to ensure that all
client objectives are met.
Michael recently served as
President of the Merrimack, NH Chamber of Commerce
and is the co-founder of Swan Chocolates, a nationally
recognized manufacturer and retailer based in
New Hampshire. He is a certified chocoholic.
